Victims of Explosion at Mosque in Syria's Homs Rise to 6

Damascus, December 26 (QNA) - The death toll from the bombing of a mosque in the city of Homs in Syria rose to 6 dead with another 21 injured, based on initial reports.

Health authorities in the city reported that an explosion occurred inside Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Wadi Al Dahab neighborhood of Homs today, resulting in the death of 6 people and the injury of 21, according to initial reports.

A security source meanwhile revealed that initial investigations indicate that the explosion was caused by explosive devices planted inside the mosque.

Civil defense teams are working to remove the traces of destruction and secure the site, with investigations continuing to uncover the circumstances of the incident. (QNA)
