Israeli Occupation Renews Its Incursion into Syrian Territory
Damascus, December 22 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces renewed their incursion into Syrian territory on Monday.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said that the occupying forces had entered several villages in the northern Quneitra countryside and searched the citizens.
SANA said that an occupation force consisting of three military vehicles set out from the Al Hamidiya point towards the village of Al Samdaniya Al Sharqiya and set up a checkpoint between the town of Jaba and the village of Umm Batna, and proceeded to search the citizens.
Earlier today, the occupation forces had advanced into the villages of Bir Ajam and Bariqa Al Qadima in the southern countryside of Quneitra, and into the area between the villages of Ma'ariya and Abidin in the western countryside of Daraa.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggressive policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by incursions into southern Syria and attacks on civilians. Syria continues to demand the withdrawal of the occupation forces from its territory and calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter the occupation's practices, and compel it to withdraw completely from southern Syria and return to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
