Qatar participates in Arab League's Celebration of World Arabic Language Day
Cairo, December 18 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in an event organized by the Arab League's General Secretariat at its headquarters in Cairo, to celebrate the World Arabic Language Day.
The Qatari delegation was headed by First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the Arab League Dr. Essa Salem Al Kuwari.
The event, held with the participation of ambassadors and representatives of accredited foreign diplomatic missions, along with prominent religious and cultural figures, highlighted the Arabic language as a historical legacy, a living communication tool, and a soft power capable of absorbing multiple cultures and building bridges of understanding between peoples.
It focused on anticipating the future of the Arabic language, by reviewing the map of Arabic language education in universities and international centers, in addition to researching the key obstacles facing non-native Arabic learners and ways to overcome them, and the role of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in facilitating the learning and dissemination of Arabic.
