Doha, December 17 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has put humans at the core of its priorities, and thanks to this move, the nation has achieved unprecedented breakthroughs in the areas of social, economic, and human development, HE Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Qatar, Vipul, told Qatar News Agency (QNA).

Vipul availed himself of this opportunity to extend assurances of the highest consideration on the Qatar National Day, whose theme, he said, puts humans at Qatar's foremost attention, as demonstrated in its focus and success in achieving unprecedented progress in a variety of fields.

The ambassador stressed that on this day he is privileged to recall that 2025 has been meritorious year for the Indian-Qatari friendship, whose roots span numerous centuries.

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's visit to the Republic of India in February 2025 had lent impetus to the bilateral relationship, culminating in forging the strategic partnership level, Vipul noted.

He emphasized that Qatar has been renowned for its energy production and world-class infrastructure all over the world, as well as being a thriving hub for culture, education, and sports.

Today, Qatar possesses numerous preeminent educational and cultural institutions, such as Qatar Foundation (QF), Qatar National Library (QNL), and Qatar Museums (QM), and had succeeded in hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup, along with the excellent organization of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, Vipul recalled.

Vipul affirmed that the future-oriented and comprehensive approach the Qatari leadership pursues, in terms of technology, innovation, and sustainability as part of the Qatar National Development Strategy, elevates development and cooperation to new heights.

The year 2025 has been pivotal in this context, the Ambassador emphasized, noting that Doha hosted consequential events such as Web Summit Qatar, MWC Doha, and World Summit AI Qatar 2025.

The Ambassador further stressed that Qatar's role in strengthening regional peace and stability, including its efforts toward Gaza ceasefire mediation and the release of all hostages, earns large-scale commendation.

He asserted that India firmly stands with peace and stability in the region and highly values the critical role Qatar is undertaking in this respect.

The Second World Summit for Social Development 2025, convened in Doha recently, has demonstrated Qatar's commitment to leaving no one behind when it comes to global sustainable development, Vipul pointed out.

Finally, Vipul emphasized that members of the Indian community are proud of their contributions to the State of Qatar's decades-long path toward renaissance and development, wishing Qatar enduring success.

Vipul further stressed that he looks forward to an enduring India-Qatar partnership in the quest for securing peace, progress, and prosperity for the entire mankind. (QNA)
