Muscat, December 14 (QNA) - The Sultanate of Oman has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack targeting civilians on a beach in Sydney, Australia, which resulted in multiple casualties.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman reaffirmed its firm stance against violence and terrorism in all its forms and motives. The statement also reiterated the importance of promoting values of coexistence and tolerance among different religions and cultures, and of strengthening international cooperation to combat the scourge of extremism.
