Doha, December 14 (QNA) - Jordan head coach Jamal Sellami has expressed his determination to secure a win over Saudi Arabia and reach the final of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, when the two teams meet Monday at Al Bayt Stadium in the semi-final.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Sellami acknowledged the challenge posed by the Saudi team, describing them as a strong opponent participating with a full squad, while noting that Jordan will be missing several players. Nevertheless, he expressed confidence in his squad's ability to maintain the high level of performance they have shown throughout the tournament.

Sellami confirmed that striker Yazan Al Naimat will miss the match due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained against Iraq, but emphasized that the team has a capable roster ready to compete for a place in the final.

Regarding Saudi coach Herve Renard, Sellami spoke highly of the Frenchman, saying he is a top-class coach.

Jordan midfielder Rajai Ayed also affirmed the team's readiness, acknowledging the challenge of facing a strong opponent with deep footballing traditions like Saudi Arabia. (QNA)
