Qatar and EU Hold Fourth Joint Committee Meeting on Air Transport Agreement
Brussels, December 10 (QNA) - Qatar and the European Union held the fourth meeting of their Joint Committee on Wednesday to review progress in implementing the comprehensive air transport agreement signed between the two sides.
The session, held at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels, was co-chaired by Acting President of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), Mohammed Faleh Al Hajri and Director-General for Mobility and Transport at the European Commission Gzim Ocakoglu.
Talks focused on the implementation of the agreement's provisions, developments in the aviation market, fair competition, and environmental and sustainability issues.
The committee, which meets at least once a year, oversees the effective execution of the air transport agreement and discusses key matters of mutual interest, particularly efforts to develop the aviation market and strengthen cooperation between Qatar and the EU. (QNA)
