Gaza, December 10 (QNA) - The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday dug out 30 Palestinian bodies from the interim cemeteries in Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City after they had been buried on an urgent basis since the flareup of the war.
For the fourth consecutive day, the civil defense personnel have been operating to recover the bodies from random cemeteries sprawling across various regions of the enclave, the Civil Defense clarified in a statement Wednesday.
It pointed out that a new mass grave has been stumbled upon which includes over 30 bodies inside the perimeter of the medical facility, emphasizing that its personnel are still operating to retrieve the bodies from those graves, with the total number reaching roughly 300.
In early December 2025, the Gaza Ministry of Health affirmed that it has initiated the transference of the bodies that had been buried inside the medical complex.
It explained that the relocation process of bodies that were buried by families inside the complex would be conducted in coordination with the competent authorities.
The ministry further noted that after the expiry of this date all bodies will be treated as unidentified and ought to be transferred to Deir Al-Balah Cemetery in the central Gaza Strip. (QNA)
