Doha, November 3 (QNA) - HE Minister of Social Development and Family Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, on Monday inaugurated the "From Care to Empowerment" exhibition, organized by the Ministry on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development Doha 2025.

The opening was attended by a number of officials, experts, and representatives of regional and international organizations.

The exhibition documents the journey of social development in the State of Qatar from the 1950s to the present day, through an interactive visual display that narrates the country's transition from a care-based approach to a comprehensive empowerment of its people.

It showcases key historical milestones and national achievements in the fields of education, health, women, childhood, community development, and humanitarian work.

The exhibition traces the evolution of governmental and institutional efforts in human development and empowerment through various phases, beginning with the establishment of formal education in the 1950s, continuing through the creation of pioneering social and health institutions, and culminating in the establishment of the Ministry of Social Development and Family Affairs in 2021.

Her Excellency emphasized that the exhibition embodies the national vision for social development, which places human beings at the heart of development.

It reflects a sustainable national path based on the principles of social justice, community participation, and the empowerment of diverse groups, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

She noted that showcasing this rich history reflects the state's unwavering commitment to human development and enhancing the role of individuals in building a cohesive society characterized by dignity, well-being, and sustainability.
