Muscat, November 26 (QNA) - Qatar swept both the youth and women's titles at the Arab 3x3 Basketball Championship, held over two days in Muscat.
The Qatari youth team secured gold with a 20-17 win over Kuwait in the final, while Lebanon finished third. In the women's competition, Qatar beat hosts Oman 21-13 to take the title, with Kuwait claiming bronze.
Abdullah Sultan Al Jaber of the Qatar Basketball Federation said the double triumph reflected the country's progress in 3x3 basketball and the strength of its player development programs. He praised the high level of competition and the event's professional organisation.
Qatar's teams now turn their focus to the Gulf 3x3 Championship for men and women, scheduled for November 28-29 in Muscat. (QNA)
