Doha, November 22 (QNA) - MWC25 Doha, organized by the GSMA, in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is nearing completion of its final preparations.

This inaugural edition of MWC25 Doha is scheduled for Nov. 25-26, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

MWC25 Doha serves as a platform to strengthen Doha's position as a global hub for dialogue on digital policies and modern technological developments. Over 200 speakers, including decision-makers, technology leaders, and entrepreneurs - the majority of whom are from countries outside Qatar (75 percent) are set to convene to discuss the latest trends in telecommunications, information technology, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and future economies.

Qatar University will participate as the first-ever Education Partner for any MWC event, a step that underscores the engagement of national institutions in supporting the event’s knowledge exchange and public outreach.

MCIT will participate through seven discussion sessions and four closed-door roundtables, in addition to featuring entrepreneurs and startups from the Digital Incubation Center, TASMU Accelerator, and the Scale Now program.

MWC25 Doha will also host the GSMA Ministerial Program, expected to seat nearly 50 official delegations comprising ministers, heads of regulatory bodies, and representatives from international organizations, consolidating its position as an enabler of dialogue among decision-makers.

MWC25 Doha will also feature over 40 prominent speakers on the 4YFN platform dedicated to entrepreneurship, 50 startups taking to the pitching stage, and over 40 Qatari startups showcasing their digital solutions.

MWC25 Doha will include 50 thought leadership sessions, including keynotes, conference tracks, and summits, and nearly 10 closed ministerial-level roundtables. This comprehensive agenda makes it a forum that combines dialogue with technical experience. 4 national pavilions will be featured: Qatar Pavilion, Palestine Pavilion, Turkiye Pavilion, and Korea Pavilion.

A group of key partners and official sponsors from diverse sectors, including 3 event partners, 20 official sponsors, and 30 media partners, are collaborating in the event's organization.

Furthermore, the Qatar Pavilion at the accompanying exhibition will interactively and innovatively showcase 23 distinctive Qatari initiatives. These initiatives embody the nation's leadership in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and governmental innovation, highlighting the joint efforts between the public and private sectors in building an integrated digital ecosystem that reflects the aspirations of the Digital Agenda 2030.

Qatar Pavilion will feature participation from leading national entities, including the MCIT, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Municipality, Qatar University, the Communications Regulatory Authority, the Primary Health Care Corporation, Qatar Tourism, Qatar Science & Technology Park, Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council, Qatar Computing Research Institute, Invest Qatar, and Qatari Diar In addition to outstanding innovations from the Qatar Scientific Club.

MWC25 Doha is expected to witness a number of agreements and the announcement of strategic partnerships in the fields of technology and telecommunications between government entities, private organizations and leading global companies. This reflects the strong momentum of the event as a platform for enhancing collaboration in technology and digital transformation.

GSMA Pavilion will host VR experiences with Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, while GSMA Open Gateway and Elmo will provide visitors an opportunity to remotely drive a car in the desert from a control pod using APIs. In other exciting experiential show floor opportunities, attendees can race against the time of an F1 driver on the Doha Lusail Circuit in one of several simulators, ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix.

The organization of MWC25 Doha continues Qatar's trajectory of hosting major technology events, reinforcing its position as a regional and global hub for dialogue on the future of technology and telecommunications.

MWC25 Doha embodies a key pathway for implementing the Digital Agenda 2030, which aims to build a competitive and sustainable digital economy, foster innovation, and transition towards an integrated digital society. (QNA)
