Doha, November 22 (QNA) - Al Rayyan scored an exciting 2-1 win over Umm Salal in Week 10 of the 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Khor Stadium on Saturday.

Both sides were locked 1-1 at half-time before a fine Ahmed Alaaeldin strike (55th minute) from the centre of the box clinched the deal for The Lions. It was Al Rayyan’s sixth win of the league championship and too their tally to 19 points, while Umm Salal remained on six points.

Al Rayyan gained early lead in the 15th minute of the match when Abdulrahman Faiz Al Rashidi scored an own goal accidentally deflecting a Roger Guedes cross into his own net.

Umm Salal equalized in the 32nd minute with an Oussame Tannane free-kick – taken from 10 yards outside the box to the right and which found the top of the left post before going in.

The Orange Fortress were, however, unlucky a second time when in the 59th minute another Tannane free-kick hit the crossbar after a deflection from the 'wall' but flew away. (QNA)
