Saudi Arabia's Ithra Launches Tanween Program Featuring 8 Exhibitions
Riyadh, November 17 (QNA) - Saudi Arabia's King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) launched its 8th "Tanween" program under the theme "Design the Unspoken", featuring eight exhibitions that enrich the Saudi and regional design scene.
The program aims to unravel the behind-the-scenes of design practices through exhibitions that touch on the social and cultural dimensions of design. It presents in-house exhibitions and ones hosted from abroad.
The exhibitions include "Mujassam Watan", "Terminal G: Stories Woven in the Gulf", "Exo-Cortex Immersive", "Rizo Masr", "Grad Show", "Shared Oasis Exhibition: Design That Listens", "Baseqat: The Palm Tree Exhibition", and "Designed in Saudi", which is led by the Architecture and Design Commission at the Saudi Ministry of Culture.
The 8th "Tanween" program will wrap up its events on November 22 with the Tanween Closing Ceremony that will showcase its most notable outcomes, honor its partners and creatives, as well as announce the winners of the Tanween Challenges. (QNA)
