Ramallah, November 17 (QNA) - Head of the Palestinian Prisoners' Society, Abdullah Al Zaghari, stated that the Israeli occupation authorities' acknowledgment to "Physicians for Human Rights – Israel" of the deaths of 94 Palestinian prisoners and detainees in Israeli occupation prisons and detention camps since the start of the extermination war until last August, and the announcement of four more, raising total to 98, indicates that the actual number is higher than reported and exceeds one hundred, a figure that is not final.

Al Zaghari added that this number does not include prisoners who were shot before their arrest and held in Israeli occupation hospitals until their death, as well as dozens who were executed in the field after being detained.

He stressed that these figures represent further confirmation of the severity of the ongoing crimes against prisoners in Israeli occupation jails, who are subjected to a different form of extermination, based on atrocities and serious violations documented by dozens of Palestinian and human rights organizations.

He pointed out that each case of a deceased prisoner reveals, in detail, a set of policies the occupation applies in dealing with Palestinian prisoners, confirming that Israel continues to strip Palestinians of their humanity and violate their basic rights, not only through colonial control over their lives and existence, but also after death, by withholding the bodies of martyrs, mistreating them, stealing their organs, and depriving families of proper burial.

Al Zaghari affirmed that the atrocities committed against prisoners and detainees during this extermination exceed imagination, including systematic torture, starvation, medical crimes, and other abuses, noting that testimonies and reports continue to reveal new details and increasingly alarming information about the ongoing extermination inside Israeli prisons.
