Doha, October 08 (QNA) - HE Chairman of the Qatar Chamber (QC) Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani stated that the launch of the National Strategy for Promoting Integrity, Transparency, and Preventing Corruption (2025–2030) represents a significant addition to Qatar’s ongoing strategic initiatives, in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.

In press statements, HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani emphasized that the strategy marks a key step in enhancing integrity and transparency across all sectors, indicating that it underscores Qatar’s commitment to fostering a robust and sustainable economic environment grounded in transparency and ethical practices.

He noted that it strengthens the protection of public funds, improves the quality of public services, and enhances the business and investment climate in the country.

HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani also reaffirmed the Qatar Chamber’s readiness to support national initiatives promoting transparency and best practices, thereby elevating the country’s regional and international standing.

He highlighted the State’s achievements in transparency and anti-corruption through legislative reforms, active participation in international anti-corruption frameworks such as the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), and adherence to global standards of governance and integrity.

QC Chairman added: "Qatar Chamber plays a pivotal role in guiding local companies to adopt the highest standards of corporate governance and integrity, fostering trust between the public and private sectors, and enabling local and international investors to operate in a safe and stable environment."

He also stressed Qatar’s ongoing efforts to raise public awareness of integrity through campaigns and workshops, engaging the community in anti-corruption initiatives, and reinforcing Qatar’s position as a reliable and transparent investment environment. (QNA)
