Doha, October 31 (QNA) - Fans and families are set to enjoy a vibrant football festival and unique celebratory atmosphere at some of the world's premier sports venues, as Aspire Zone hosts matches of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 from November 3 to 27.

The global tournament kicks off Monday with the opening match between Qatar and Italy at Pitch 7 in Aspire Zone.

Executive Director of Operations at the Local Organizing Committee Rashid Al Khater stated that they are pleased to welcome the world's top emerging talents to train and compete at Qatar's world-class sports facilities. Aspire Zone and Khalifa International Stadium will offer an ideal platform for rising stars to showcase their skills.

He added that fans will enjoy a football festival and a unique celebratory atmosphere. The compact layout of Aspire Zone allows spectators to attend multiple matches in a single day, while spending exceptional moments in the fan zone, designed to offer cultural and entertainment activities for all.

He stressed that they look forward to welcoming fans from around the world to celebrate their shared passion for football.

Aspire Zone, recognized as a regional hub for sporting excellence since hosting the 2006 Asian Games, will transform into a vibrant football destination for 25 days, featuring 104 matches across eight pitches, with up to eight games daily during the group stage and Round of 16.

The fan zone, open daily from 1:30 PM until the final whistle, will host family-friendly festivities, including children's games, e-sports competitions, and a mini football pitch.

Families can also enjoy folkloric and cultural performances, global food and beverage kiosks, and a sensory support room for fans with autism and sensory challenges.

Aspire Zone is home to the renowned orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital, Aspetar, the tournament's official medical partner, and Aspire Academy, which has produced world and Olympic champions since its 2004 inception, including high jump legend Mutaz Barshim.

Located near Al Aziziyah Metro Station on the Gold Line, Aspire Zone offers easy access via Qatar's modern public transport network.

Tickets are available in various daily categories, allowing fans to attend multiple matches and enjoy fan zone activities.

Premium tickets are also offered for high-demand fixtures. Supporters of Qatar's youth team can purchase Support Your Team tickets for group stage matches.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 will be the first edition to feature 48 teams. The final will be held at Khalifa International Stadium, one of the eight venues that hosted matches during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. (QNA)
