Doha, April 28 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the 3rd Qatar Boat Show 2026 will take place from Nov. 4-7, with the participation of major leading marine brands and industry experts, contributing to strengthening Qatar's position as a leading destination in the global maritime sector.

During a press conference on Tuesday, the exhibition's organizing committee announced the launch of the marketing campaign for the Qatar Boat Show 2026 under the slogan "sailing differently," where the promotional film for the campaign was shown for the first time. It noted that the previous edition of the exhibition attracted more than 27,000 visitors from 105 countries, and witnessed the participation of 65 boats and marine vessels, with a total value of QR 880 million. It also recorded a 25 percent increase in the number of exhibitors compared to the first edition, which strengthened the exhibition's position and consolidated its regional presence.

CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for Qatar Boat Show Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla showcased the readiness of the team and its preparations for organizing 2026 edition, commending the partners and supporters of the exhibition's activities during the past years and the upcoming edition.

He added that the Qatar Boat Show was launched based on a firm belief in the ability of the State of Qatar to add exceptional value to the maritime sector globally, and Old Doha Port is the ideal place to embody this vision. The campaign slogan, "sailing differently," embodies the identity and message of the show, in which the rich maritime heritage is shaped, relationships and partnerships are formed, and the finest experiences are created along one of the most important waterfronts in the region.

In the same context, Engineer Mohammed Al-Atwaan, Director of Operations and Projects Department at the Old Doha Port and Director of the Qatar Boat Show addressed the idea of the exhibition and its launch since 2024, leading up to the anticipated edition in 2026. He highlighted the key achievements that were made in previous editions, in addition to the preparations underway for this edition, while welcoming the participating exhibitors.

The campaign theme "sailing differently," embodies the essence of the Qatar Boat Show, an event that fosters creative ideas and contributes to their development and realization. The campaign draws its meaning from the concept of "craftsmanship" in the maritime sector, symbolizing a commitment to the highest standards evident in every aspect of the show, from the boats on display to the discussions taking place at the dock, as well as the partnerships Qatar establishes with leading figures in the global maritime industry.

The Qatar Boat Show is one of the region's premier maritime events, bringing together leading international yacht builders, marine brands, and industry experts under one roof at Old Doha Port. The event showcases world and regional premieres, exclusive product launches, and the latest innovations in marine technology, making it a key platform for networking and business development within the international maritime industry.
