Qatar 3x3 Basketball Team to Play Chinese Taipei Tomorrow at 3rd Asian Youth Games

Manama, October 27 (QNA) - The Qatar 3x3 basketball team will play their quarterfinal match against Chinese Taipei on Monday, as part of the 3rd Asian Youth Games Bahrain 2025, running until October 31.
The Qatari team aim to continue their strong performance, advance to the semifinals, and move one step closer to winning a medal, especially after showing an impressive level in the preliminary stage, where they topped Group C with a perfect record of five victories.
Tomorrow will also see the start of the swimming, cycling, and badminton competitions, with the participation of several promising Qatari athletes who hope to achieve positive results.
Meanwhile, the Qatar national wrestling team arrived in Bahrain today to take part in the Games, while the judo and ju-jitsu teams are scheduled to arrive Monday, completing the participation of all Qatari delegations.
In total, 67 Qatari athletes are competing in 16 sports, including athletics, badminton, 3x3 basketball, equestrian (show jumping), golf, judo, ju-jitsu, cycling, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, triathlon, wrestling, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and boxing.
Through this participation, Qatari team aim to deliver a strong performance, compete for medals, and gain valuable continental experience, as the event is part of their preparation for the Doha 2030 Asian Games.
The event features more than 5,000 male and female athletes representing 45 Asian National Olympic Committees. (QNA)
