Doha, October 21 (QNA) - The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) will be hosting the "Verses Across Borders – EU Poetry Exhibition" starting on Wednesday until November 4, in Al Ibdaa Courtyard (between buildings 15 and 16).

In a collaboration between Katara and the embassies of the countries of the European Union (EU) in the State of Qatar, the exhibition represents a cultural initiative that sheds light on the impact of poetry in connecting cultures, encouraging dialogue and honoring global human values such as identity, resilience, and the common good.

The "Verses Across Borders – EU Poetry Exhibition" will feature poems from different countries of the EU in their original language as well as translations into Arabic and English.

The countries partaking in the exhibition include Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland, Poland, Malta, Czechia, France, Romania, Belgium, and Italy.

HE Ambassador of the EU to the State of Qatar, Dr. Cristian Tudor, stated on the occasion of the exhibition that poetry speaks to the soul in a way that no other art form can, and that the exhibition celebrates poetic voices that represent European culture and links countries beyond borders.

His Excellency Dr. Tudor highlighted the collaboration between Katara and the embassies of the EU countries in presenting this event in Doha. (QNA)
