Doha, October 19 (QNA) - The Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, has hosted a lecture featuring author Moza Al Ishaq, who presented her book Creative Qatar Tourism - a comprehensive account of the country's evolving travel sector.

The book comprises 73 articles chronicling the development of Qatar's tourism sector from 2013 to 2024.

Al Ishaq described her effort as an essential reference and documentation resource that offers unique insights into the transformation of Qatar's tourism through firsthand field experiences and detailed coverage of key events and activities.

She told the audience that the book reflects Qatar's national efforts to establish a modern and advanced tourism infrastructure, presenting a comprehensive vision for the sector’s future within the framework of sustainable development.

The publication focuses on tourism in both Qatar and the wider region, with an illustrated appendix that records awards, notable figures, and initiatives instrumental in shaping the country's tourism landscape over a decade of growth.

Al Ishaq emphasized the book's rich visual content which turns selected articles into vivid archival pages showcasing key milestones in Qatar's tourism journey.

The event opened with patriotic songs and compositions performed by musician Ali Al Jowz. It concluded with a ceremony honoring the author along with media professional Mohamed Dahou and Al Jowz, recognizing their significant contributions to enriching Qatar's cultural and media scenes. (QNA)
