Washington, October 16 (QNA) - The Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) took part at the Arab Coordination Group (ACG)'s 50th anniversary celebration in Washington DC.
A QFFD statement on Thursday said the engagement was a chance to look back on the ACG's five decades of highly impactful work in supporting sustainable development worldwide while also sharing its vision for the future.
Organized under the theme "ACG at 50: United in Collaboration, Transforming Development for a Sustainable Futureâ€‌, the event featured high-level discussions, insightful presentations, and visual content that reflected the group's shared vision for a more sustainable and prosperous world, grounded in its core values and strong commitment to global partnership.
On this occasion, QFFD Director General Fahad Hamad Al Sulaiti stated: "For five decades, the Arab Coordination Group has demonstrated the enduring power of unity and shared purpose in advancing sustainable development.
"At Qatar Fund for Development, we are proud to be part of this collective journey, one that continues to translate solidarity and innovation into meaningful impact across the world. Together, we remain committed to building a more equitable, just, and prosperous future for all."
On behalf of ACG members, HE Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, said: "This 50th anniversary is more than a milestone; it is a turning point. As the global development architecture evolves, the world is calling on development institutions to be bigger, better, and bolder. The Arab Coordination Group is answering that call. We are forging a shared vision to guide our collective action for decades ahead." (QNA)
