Arab League Deputy Secretary-General Highlights Qatar, Egypt, and Turkiye’s Key Role in Ending Gaza War
Cairo, October 13 (QNA) - Assistant Secretary-General and Head of Political Affairs Sector at the Arab League, Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Manzalawi underscored importance of the efforts by Qatar, Egypt, and Turkiye in successfully facilitating the negotiations that led to the end of war in Gaza.
In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Manzalawi stated that Gaza endured difficult times over the past two years, and this war ended thanks to the blessed efforts made by the State of Qatar. Adding that they hope this marks the path toward a two-state solution, Middle East stability, and establishment of a Palestinian state where Palestinian people can enjoy a good and dignified life.
The Arab League Assistant Secretary-General pointed out that there are expectations for continuity and sustainability of implementing all the steps and plans agreed upon to end war in Gaza and to strengthen efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
Manzalawi also noted that Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit will be held later on Monday with participation of many world leaders, emphasizing guarantees for implementing the agreements and plans proposed by US President Donald Trump, which were approved by all parties and endorsed by international community, with the aim of achieving the two-state solution and establishing a Palestinian state.
