Port Sudan, October 01 (QNA) – Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman, General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, met on Wednesday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.

The talks focused on Egypt's efforts to help end the ongoing conflict in Sudan through engagement in international platforms, including the Quad mechanism, with the aim of reaching a humanitarian truce, an immediate ceasefire, and launching a Sudanese-led political process toward lasting peace and stability.

Minister Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Sudan and its continued commitment to supporting the country's unity, security, and stability. (QNA)
