Doha, February 26 (QNA) - The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has urged Muslims in the State of Qatar to observe the sighting of the crescent moon for the month of Ramadan on the evening of Friday, the 29th of Sha'ban, 1446 AH, corresponding to February 28, 2025.

In a statement on Wednesday, the committee called upon every single person who sights the crescent to immediately attend in person at the ministry's premises in Dafna Tower to provide his testimony accordingly.

The committee will convene immediately after Maghreb prayer. (QNA)
