Baghdad, August 09 (QNA) - Iraqi football club Zakho announced on Saturday the official signing of Qatari coach Wesam Rizik to train the first football team.

In a press release, the Zakho SC stated that Wissam Rizk signed a contract to coach the team during the upcoming 2025-2026 season, highlighting that Rizik, 44, has a rich coaching experience, having previously coached several Qatari clubs, including Al Sadd, Al Shamal, and Al Kharaitiyat.

Rizik was the coach of the Iraqi Air Force Club from July to December 2024. (QNA)
