MOEHE Launches Student Activity Centers for Summer 2026
Doha, July 09 (QNA) - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) launched the activities of the student activity centers for the summer of 2026, under the theme 'invest their summer in creativity.'
In a statement on Thursday, the MOEHE said that the events, which will continue until Aug. 3, aim to provide an enjoyable and comprehensive educational experience during the summer vacation, in a safe and stimulating learning environment for students, in cooperation with a select group of strategic partners in the country.
The MOEHE indicated that the centers have begun receiving students with diverse programs and interactive activities that refine their creative and cognitive skills, noting that the events are held daily from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, targeting age groups from 6 to 18 years of government school students, Qatari students in private schools, in addition to students with special needs, for whom an independent center fully equipped to meet their requirements has been allocated.
The ministry explained that the activities were distributed across five summer centers that were carefully selected to ensure easy access, including Al Wakra and Khalifa Secondary Schools for boys, Al Khor and Amna Bint Wahab Secondary Schools for girls, in addition to Al Hidayah School for Special Needs in the Al Hilal area for boys.
The MOEHE affirmed that these efforts come within the framework of its strategy aimed at building an integrated educational system that supports the comprehensive development of students and contributes to achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, by enhancing human capital and enabling generations to face the challenges of the future with confidence and competence.
