Doha, April 08 (QNA) - The State of Qatar welcomed Tuesday the Sultanate of Oman's hosting of high-level talks between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran due on Saturday.

In a statement Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar's hope that the talks will lead to a sustainable agreement that enhances security, stability, and peace in the region and opens new horizons for regional cooperation and dialogue.

The Ministry expressed Qatar's appreciation for Oman's diplomatic efforts aimed at bringing the two parties closer together.

It also affirmed Qatar's firm belief that dialogue is the optimal option for resolving international crises and conflicts, and its support for all regional and international efforts aimed at establishing peace and enhancing cooperation between countries to achieve global security and stability.
