Gold Steady Ahead of US Inflation Data
Singapore, September 07 (QNA) - Gold held steady on Monday as market participants awaited key US inflation data due later this week for further clues on the Federal Reserve's interest rate trajectory.
Spot gold was almost unchanged at $4,424.40 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery were down 0.1% at $4,471.60.
Among other metals, spot silver held steady at $66.21 per ounce, platinum lost 0.7% at $1,807.38 and palladium declined 0.4% to $1,393.00. (QNA)
