Doha, May 07 (QNA) - The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) concluded Thursday a joint exercise, with participation from the Qatar Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior, as part of efforts to enhance coordination and integration between military and security agencies.
The closing ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Major General Mohammed Mesfer Al Shahwan.
The final drill featured a scenario simulating riot-control operations to assess readiness and the ability to manage emergency situations efficiently through joint inter-agency coordination.
Participating units included Qatar Military Police Forces (QMPF), GHQ Support Force, Joint Special Forces, Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), and Signal Corps, alongside the Ministry of Interior's support forces, the National Command Center (NCC), Special Operations Command, Support and Reinforcement Group, and Lekhwiya's Female VIP Protection Unit.
