Singapore, April 07 (QNA) - The dollar held near its recent highs on Tuesday, as traders await market moves.
The yen fell to 159.80 per dollar, a level close to its lowest in several decades and to levels that prompted government intervention in 2024.

The US dollar index rose 0.05 percent to 100.03, after reaching 100.64 last week, its highest level since May 2025. 

The euro was little changed at USD 1.1535, while the Australian dollar fell to USD 0.6912 and the New Zealand dollar to USD 0.57. (QNA)
