Doha, November 05 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index increased by 0.65% at the start of Thursday's trading, gaining 64.36 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,948 points, supported by five sectors.

QSE data attributed positive performances in Insurance (+1.42%), Industrials (+1.33%), Real Estate (+0.96%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.61%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.24%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Telecoms (-0.17%) and Transportation (-0.26%).

By 10:00 am, QSE recorded 6,892 transactions of QR 112.944 million, with 74.944 million shares. (QNA)
