QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, April 05 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 65.68 points, or 0.65%, at the start of trading on Sunday, falling to 10,161 points from the previous session's close, under pressure from most sectors.
The market was weighed down by Banks and Financial Services by 0.72%, Telecoms (-0.64%), Insurance (-0.54%), Transportation (-0.39%), Industrials (-0.26%), and Real Estate (-0.16%). Meanwhile, Consumer Goods and Services gained 0.03%.
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 36.860 million, with 16.363 million shares traded across 2,059 transactions. (QNA)
