Palestinian Rescue Teams Recover 8 Palestinian Bodies
Gaza, August 04 (QNA) - Palestinian rescue teams in the Gaza Strip recovered Tuesday, from under the rubble of a house in Gaza City, the bodies of 8 Palestinians who were killed as a result of a previous bombing by Israeli occupation aircraft.
In a statement today, the Civil Defense authorities in Gaza indicated that some of the bodies were in advanced stages of decomposition, while others were reduced to mere remains, as a result of being under the rubble for a long time.
They confirmed that rescue teams will resume search operations at the same site tomorrow, in an attempt to recover the bodies of eight other martyrs who are still missing and are believed to still be under the rubble of the destroyed house.
Civil defense and ambulance crews continue to recover bodies from targeted sites in various areas of the Gaza Strip, despite the great difficulties resulting from the widespread destruction and the lack of heavy equipment and capabilities needed to reach those trapped under the rubble.
Earlier today, Palestinians in Gaza held a national funeral for the bodies and remains of 112 martyrs from one family, who were killed in an Israeli massacre committed by the Israeli occupation on Nov. 22, 2023, at the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip and its inhabitants.
