Moscow, May 04 (QNA) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced Monday that its air defense systems destroyed 117 Ukrainian drones overnight over the territory of several provinces.

The Ministry said in a statement that on-duty air defenses intercepted and destroyed 117 Ukrainian drones over the territory of several provinces, including Astrakhan, Belgorod, Voronezh, Volgograd, and Kaluga.

The attack is part of ongoing hostilities between the two countries since February 24, 2022.
