Kuwait Intercepts Hostile Drone in its Airspace
Kuwait, July 31 (QNA) - Kuwaiti Defense Ministry spokesperson Colonel Saud Al Otaibi said today that Kuwait's armed forces detected hostile drones inside the country's airspace at dawn, adding that they then intercepted and destroyed them.
In a statement carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al Otaibi said the Iranian attack targeted a number of vital and military facilities. He said the hostile targets were intercepted and destroyed, resulting in material damage caused by falling debris but no casualties.
Al Otaibi said the armed forces would continue operating efficiently, while taking all necessary measures to protect the country's sovereignty and preserve its security and stability in coordination with the relevant authorities. (QNA)
