Qatar Welcomes Announcement of New Syrian Government Formation

Doha, March 30 (QNA) - The State of Qatar welcomed the announcement, made by HE President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Sharaa, of the formation of the new government, wished for the government's success in carrying out its duties and consolidating the foundations of a state of institutions; justice; and freedoms.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar's aspiration to cooperate with the new Syrian government to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields, in a way that serves the interests of the two fraternal peoples. At the same time, the ministry emphasized Qatar's support for the new government to achieve the aspirations of the fraternal Syrian people for stability, development, and prosperity.

The ministry also reiterated the State of Qatar's full support for Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. (QNA)
