European Stocks Rise as Oil Prices Decline
Brussels, August 03 (QNA) - European stocks rose at the start of trading on Monday, supported by a decline in oil prices following the announcement of a new round of negotiations between Iran and the United States aimed at easing tensions in the Middle East.
Among the major European markets, France's CAC 40 index in Paris gained 0.87%, while Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt advanced 0.91%.
Italy's FTSE MIB index rose 0.80%, while Britain's FTSE 100 index in London climbed 0.42%. (QNA)
