Washington, June 03 (QNA) - /X/ platform has launched the XChat instant messaging system with highly secure features.

The platform's owner, Elon Musk, announced via his /X/ account that the all-new XChat application has been launched, featuring encryption, disappearing messages, and the ability to send any type of file, in addition to voice and video calls.

He added that the app is built on Rust programming language, known for its speed and high levels of security, enhancing XChat's capabilities in providing an encrypted and secure messaging experience that rivals leading global messaging applications.

At this stage, access to the application is limited to /X/ subscribers with paid accounts. The application will be available on Android and iOS, in addition to a dedicated version for web platforms, in a move that enhances its reach and availability across various devices.
