QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, March 03 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 36.95 points, or 0.35%, to 10,544 points at the start of trading on Tuesday, compared to the previous session's close.
The market was weighed down by declines across five sectors, led by Telecoms, which fell 1.07%, followed by Industrials (-0.77%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.54%), Transportation (-0.16%), and Insurance (-0.03%). In contrast, Consumer Goods and Services rose 1.81%, while the Real Estate sector gained 0.18%.
By 10:00 am, QSE recorded a total turnover of QR 94.284 million, with 40.440 million shares traded across 4,157 transactions. (QNA)
