Riyadh, February 2 (QNA) – Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met Monday with German Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Katharina Reiche to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, and investment.

They also explored opportunities for collaboration in the renewable energy, hydrogen, technology, and healthcare sectors.

This took place during the 21st session of the Saudi-German Joint Committee for Economic and Technical Cooperation, the Saudi-German Business Council meeting, and the Energy Sector Roundtable, which saw broad participation from major energy companies in both countries.

During the meetings, a memorandum of understanding was signed, aiming to establish a general framework for cooperation in various energy sectors.

Several agreements and memoranda of understanding were also signed between public and private sector institutions in both countries, reflecting the strength of bilateral economic relations and underscoring the role of the private sector in supporting joint cooperation initiatives. (QNA)
