Doha, October 28 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index increased by 0.30% at the start of Wednesday's trading, gaining 27.51 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,178 points, supported by five sectors.

QSE data showed positive performances across several sectors, including: Telecoms (+0.65), Banks and Financial Services (+0.51%), Insurance (+0.46%), Real Estate (+0.44%), and Industrials (+0.10%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services (-0.12%) and Transportation (-0.49%).

By 10:00 am, QSE recorded 6,281 transactions of QR 91.929 million, with 51.540 million shares. (QNA)
