New York, July 28 (QNA) - Major stock indices on Wall Street closed mixed at the end of trading today.
The Standard & Poor's 500 index ended trading up 1.45 points, or 0.02 percent, to close at 7413.43 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 255.58 points, or 0.49 percent, to close at 52,202.83.
In contrast, the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 41.21 points, or 0.16 percent, to end trading at 24,934.61 points. (QNA)
