Kuwait Condemns Renewed Iranian Drone Attacks on Bahrain
Kuwait, June 28 (QNA) - Kuwait strongly condemned the renewed Iranian drone attacks on Bahrain for the second consecutive day.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks caused material damage to civilian facilities and constituted a flagrant violation of Bahrain's sovereignty, as well as a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The ministry said Iran's continued targeting of Bahrain represents a dangerous escalation that could undermine ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and restore calm, while threatening regional security and stability in clear violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
The ministry reaffirmed Kuwait's full solidarity with Bahrain and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, stressing that Bahrain's security is an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
