Jordan Downs Two Drones After Airspace Breach
Amman, July 27 (QNA) - Jordan's Armed Forces said the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and shot down two drones after they entered the country's airspace on Monday.
An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces said the operation caused no casualties or property damage.
The source added that Royal Engineering Corps teams had handled the drone debris at several locations in line with established technical and security procedures.
The source affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to monitor the Kingdom's airspace and remain at the highest levels of operational readiness to respond to any threat targeting Jordan's security and the safety of its citizens. (QNA)
