HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim also attended the gathering alongside Their Excellencies ministers, Shura Council members, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State of Qatar.

During the Eid sermon, Sheikh Dr Yahya Bati Al Nuaimi highlighted the importance of honoring the rituals of Islam, describing them as a reflection of piety and obedience to God.

He said Eid Al-Adha was a significant spiritual occasion that reminded Muslims of devotion, gratitude and worship, while also strengthening family ties and reviving religious traditions in an atmosphere of celebration and communal prayer.

Dr Al Nuaimi also stressed the importance of Udhiya (sacrificial offering), describing it as one of the central rituals of Eid Al-Adha and urging Muslims to observe it in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Eid Al-Adha, known as the "Festival of Sacrifice", is one of the most important events in the Islamic calendar and is marked by communal prayers, charitable giving and family gatherings across the Muslim world. (QNA)
