Kuwait Launches Early Warning System via Smart Devices
Kuwait City, March 27 (QNA) - The Kuwait Ministry of Interior has activated an early warning system to send emergency alerts to smartphones.
According to a ministry statement, the messages are based on field assessments and precise security indicators monitored continuously by relevant authorities. The public is urged to take the alerts seriously and follow the instructions to ensure safety.
The ministry said the alerts aim to enable authorities to take rapid precautionary measures and advised people to move to safe locations immediately, avoid windows and open areas, and refrain from going to incident sites out of curiosity or to take photos, warning that doing so could pose safety risks or legal consequences.
The awareness and compliance of the community with official instructions is a key pillar in maintaining public safety, the statement added. (QNA)
