QCB Issues Ijara Sukuk Worth QAR 2.3 Billion

Doha, January 27 (QNA) - The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Tuesday issued government Ijara Sukuk on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, amounting to QAR 2.3 billion.

According to QCB data, the maturities of the Sukuk varied as follows: QAR 1.150 billion (as an addition to an existing issuance) for a 3-year term with a yield of 4.150 percent, and QAR 1.150 billion (as an addition to an existing issuance) for a 5-year term with a yield of 4.150 percent.

QCB explained in a post on the X platform that the total bids for the Sukuk reached approximately QAR 7 billion. (QNA)
