Doha, July 26 (QNA) - The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has announced the launch of the Cyber Security Youth Camp 2026.

Running for a period of three weeks, the Youth Camp is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

Delivered by the NCSA's National Cyber Security Academy, the Youth Camp reaffirms the Agency's commitment to creating a digitally aware generation capable of protecting its cyberspace.

The Cyber Security Youth Camp 2026 is taking place at the Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys and is involving 400 students (200 boys and 200 girls) aged between 13 and 17 years, who study in various public and private schools across the country.

The NCSA said that the Cyber Security Youth Camp is part of the Agency's ongoing efforts and strategic plans to develop national capabilities and enhance cybersecurity awareness among young people.

It added that the camp provides students with a specialized educational environment that enables them to acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

This contributes to preparing a generation capable of addressing cyber challenges and supporting Qatar's digital transformation journey, the NCSA said.

Delivered via lectures and interactive workshops, the camp's program covers six core pillars: Fundamentals, Networking, Ethical Hacking, Web Security, Systems, and Cyber Defense.

The Youth Camp features interactive discussion sessions with leading cybersecurity experts from the government, private, and academic sectors.

These sessions are designed to inspire young participants, provide them with practical professional insights, and highlight the evolving skills increasingly demanded by today's job market.

For the first time, the Cyber Security Youth Camp is offering registered students this edition, the option to participate remotely, allowing them to access the training programs and educational content through the e-learning platform.

This move seeks to broaden the program's reach and provide a larger number of students with the opportunity to take part, whether by attending in person at the camp or from their homes.

Students attending on-site engage in hands-on practical exercises supported by specialized tools, including the virtual "TryHackMe" platform.

The program adopts a game-based learning approach and goal-oriented progression, featuring collaborative challenges such as “Escape the Virus” and “Solve the Crime Mystery,” which encourage students to complete complex tasks.

The camp also includes competitive tournaments, creative workshops, and educational field visits. (QNA)
