Doha, January 26 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Monday, rising 0.22%, or 24.43 points, to reach 11,211 points, compared with the previous session's close.

Market data showed gains across most sectors, led by Telecoms (+0.82%), followed by Insurance (+0.67%), Industrials (+0.40%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.27%), and Consumer Goods and Services (+0.11%).
Meanwhile, losses were recorded in Real Estate (-0.08%) and Transportation (-0.82%).

By 10:00 a.m., trading turnover reached QR 74.922 million, with 24.136 million shares traded in 4,359 transactions. (QNA)
