New York, April 25 (QNA) - Major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed at the end of trading.
The S&P 500 rose 0.8 percent, the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.63 percent, buoyed by semiconductors which rose as a group after strong quarterly results by Intel Corp. Conversely, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.16 percent. (QNA)
